Transliteration

jagat-sraṣṭa-manā devo hari-nārāyaṇaḥ svayam | cintayāmāsa puruṣaṁ jagat-sarga-karaṁ prabhum, sākṣāt bhagavān nārāyaṇaḥ |

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：天神诃利—那罗延亲自怀着创造世界之意，沉思观想一位至上之人——那位全能的主宰，能够直接使宇宙之流溢与显现发生。此段将创世呈现为非偶然之事，而是根植于神圣意志与胜能的、审慎而主权的作为。
