Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
मन्नत्रैश्न संयुयोजाशु सो5भवत् परशुर्महान् । इसी समय रुद्रका विनाश करनेके लिये नरने एक सींक निकाली और उसे मन्त्रोंसे अभिमन्त्रित करके शीघ्र ही छोड़ दिया। वह सींक एक बहुत बड़े परशुके रूपमें परिणत हो गयी
mantraiḥ saṃyuyojāśu so 'bhavat paraśur mahān | asmin samaye rudraka-vināśāya naraṇā ekaṃ śaṅkuṃ niṣkālya taṃ mantraiḥ abhimantrya śīghraṃ mumoca | sa śaṅkuḥ paraśu-rūpeṇa mahān abhavat ||
“当时,为欲毁灭鲁陀罗,那罗拔出一枚尖刺,以真言加持,立刻掷出。凭借灌注真言之力,那武器迅速得势,化作一柄威猛的大斧。”
तामिन्द्र उवाच गच्छ नहुषस्त्वया वाच्योथ<पूर्वेण मामृषियुक्तेन यानेन त्वमधिरूढ
The passage highlights that spiritual discipline and mantra-power, when governed by dharma, can be applied decisively to restrain or remove destructive forces; power is portrayed as legitimate when aligned with the protection of order rather than personal rage.
Nara, seeking to destroy Rudraka, draws out a small spike, consecrates it with mantras, and throws it; through that consecration it transforms into a massive axe (paraśu), indicating a miraculous weapon-manifestation.
