Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)

नारायणाद्‌ वरं लब्ध्वा प्राप्प योगमनुत्तमम्‌ । क्रमं प्रणीय शिक्षां च प्रणयित्वा स गालव:

nārāyaṇād varaṁ labdhvā prāpya yogam anuttamam | kramaṁ praṇīya śikṣāṁ ca praṇayitvā sa gālavaḥ ||

圣者伽罗婆既蒙那罗延赐福,又证得无上瑜伽之律,遂将吠陀依次诵读之法(krama)加以系统化,并撰成《尸迦沙》(Śikṣā)之音声与发音学。由此,他成为诸多通达吠陀次第编排之人中最为卓越者——昭示灵性证悟与谨慎守护神圣知识,本为同一伦理之责。
