धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)

अपि हि पुराणे भवति एकयोन्यात्मकावग्नीषोमौ देवाश्लाग्निमुखा इति एकयोनित्वाच्च परस्परमर्हन्तो लोकान्‌ धारयन्त इति

api hi purāṇe bhavati ekayonyātmakāv agnīṣomau devāś cāgnimukhā iti | ekayonitvāc ca parasparam arhanto lokān dhārayanta iti ||

阿周那说:“古老的传承确曾宣说:阿耆尼与苏摩同出一源;而对一切诸天而言,阿耆尼乃是受纳供献的‘口’。因同源之故,阿耆尼与苏摩彼此滋养、相互欢悦,并以这种相依相持而支撑诸世界。”
