Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)
श्रीभगवानुवाच लोककार्यगती: सर्वास्त्विं चिन्तय यथाविधि । धाता त्वं सर्वभूतानां त्वं प्रभुर्जगतो गुरु:
śrībhagavān uvāca | lokakāryagatīḥ sarvāstvāṃ cintaya yathāvidhi | dhātā tvaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ tvaṃ prabhur jagato guruḥ ||
世尊曰:“婆罗门啊,当如法思惟诸世界一切行事之途与随之而来的诸般归趣。汝为一切众生之安立者;汝为其主,亦为此宇宙之导师。”
व्यास उवाच
Those entrusted with authority must deliberate properly on actions and their consequences for the world; cosmic leadership is defined by responsibility, foresight, and guidance in accordance with right order (vidhi).
The speaker, identified as the Blessed Lord, addresses a revered ‘Brahman’ figure and urges him to reflect, in a rule-governed way, on worldly duties and the destinies that result—affirming his role as ordainer of beings and teacher of the universe.
