समाप्तयज्ञो राजापि प्रजां पालितवान् वसु: । ब्रह्मशापाद दिवो भ्रष्ट: प्रविवेश महीं तत:
samāptayajño rājāpi prajāṃ pālitavān vasuḥ | brahmaśāpād divo bhraṣṭaḥ praviveśa mahīṃ tataḥ |
祭祀既毕，婆苏王（Vasu）仍继续护持并治理其臣民。然而因婆罗门的诅咒，他自天界坠落；继而入于大地之中，沉没到地下幽冥之域。
