अध्याय ३३७ — ज्ञानमार्ग-वैविध्यप्रश्नः तथा व्यासस्य नारायणोद्भवकथा

उवाच स्वस्थं किमपि भूतं तत्राशरीरकम् । “हमलोग तपस्यासे थककर अत्यन्त दुर्बल हो गये थे। उस समय हमलोगोंसे किसी शरीररहित स्वस्थ प्राणी (देवता) ने कहा ।।
deva uvāca | dṛṣṭā vaḥ puruṣāḥ śvetāḥ sarvendriyavivarjitāḥ |
神明说道：“你们已见到那些白色之人，诸根尽离。”此处，一位无身而安宁的存在对苦行者开示，将其所见解作极端苦行的征兆，并告诫：此类经验指向超越寻常有身知觉的境界——当感官之生机收摄退隐时，求道者当辨明其中的伦理与灵性旨趣，而不可执著于奇观。
