Single-minded devotion (ekānta-bhakti) is presented as a direct means to encounter the manifest presence of the Divine; the verse elevates exclusive, unwavering devotion as a path to immediate spiritual realization (darśana) rather than merely conceptual knowledge.
Bhīṣma addresses sages and points them toward Śvetadvīpa, describing its residents as exclusive devotees and indicating that in that realm his true Self is directly revealed—implying a sacred locus where the Divine is experienced in a manifest form.
