स पूज्यमानो देवैश्व गन्धर्वैक्रेषिभिस्तथा
sa pūjyamāno devaiś ca gandharvair ṛṣibhis tathā, āsīt kila mahārāja śukābhipatane tadā |
毗湿摩说道:“大王啊,当时舒迦正凌空上升,诸天、乾闼婆与诸仙圣都在礼敬供养他。蒙此尊崇,四方天穹仿佛尽被恭献的天花之雨所遮覆。”
भीष्म उवाच
True spiritual realization and purity command reverence across all realms; the honour shown by gods and sages signifies that inner renunciation and wisdom are higher than worldly status.
As Śukadeva rises upward (in a miraculous ascent), celestial beings—gods, Gandharvas, and sages—worship him, traditionally marked by offerings such as showers of divine flowers that fill the sky.
