अत-४-णका+ त्रयस्त्रिशर्दाधिकत्रिशततमो< ध्याय: शुकदेवजीकी परमपद-प्राप्ति तथा पुत्र-शोकसे व्याकुल व्यासजीको महादेवजीका आश्वासन देना भीष्म उवाच इत्येवमुक्त्वा वचन ब्रह्मूर्षि: सुमहातपा: । प्रातिष्ठत शुकः सिद्धि हित्वा दोषांश्नतुर्विधान्
bhīṣma uvāca | ityevam uktvā vacanaṁ brahmarṣiḥ sumahātapāḥ | prātiṣṭhata śukaḥ siddhiṁ hitvā doṣāṁś caturvidhān |
毗湿摩说道:“说罢此言,那位大苦行的梵仙(毗耶娑)便止住了话语。随后,舒迦为求究竟成就而启程前行,舍弃四种过失。”
भीष्म उवाच
Spiritual perfection (siddhi/moksha) is approached through renunciation of inner defects (doṣa) and progressive detachment from limiting qualities; the emphasis is on purification and transcendence rather than worldly accomplishment.
After the sage’s statement concludes, Shuka (Śukadeva) departs, moving forward with the explicit aim of attaining siddhi, described as abandoning a set of four defects—signaling his readiness for the culminating stage of liberation.
