सम्भ्रान्तमनसो राजन्नासन् परमविस्मिता: । वे अपने शब्दसे सम्पूर्ण आकाशको पूर्ण-सा कर रहे थे। राजन! उन्हें सहसा आते देख सम्पूर्ण अप्सराएँ मन ही-मन घबरा उठीं और अत्यन्त आश्चर्यमें पड़ गयीं
sambhrāntamanaso rājann āsan paramavismitāḥ | te svaiḥ śabdaiḥ sampūrṇam ākāśaṃ pūrṇaṃ iva kurvantaḥ | rājan! tān sahasā āgatān dṛṣṭvā samastā apsarāḥ manasā sambhrāntāḥ paramavismaye papatuḥ ||
舒迦说道:“大王啊,他们心神震荡,惊异至极;凭借自身的呼声,仿佛将整个苍穹都充塞得满溢。大王啊,见他们倏然而至、同时到来,诸天女(阿普萨拉)皆在心中惶然,陷入深沉的惊叹。”
शुक उवाच
The verse highlights how sudden, overwhelming phenomena can unsettle even celestial beings, illustrating the mind’s vulnerability to surprise and the natural rise of fear and wonder; it implicitly points to the value of steadiness (dhairya) and inner composure amid extraordinary events.
Śuka describes a sudden arrival accompanied by powerful sound that seems to fill the sky; upon seeing them appear all at once, the Apsarases become mentally agitated and intensely astonished.
