那罗陀说道:“凡具身之众生,既为造物之主所安置,必当受业果之体验,便不能逾越自身之本性——非以财富,非以王权,亦非以严酷苦行。”
नारद उवाच
Wealth, political power, and even intense austerity cannot cancel the ordained experience of one’s karmic results or allow a person to leap beyond their inherent nature (svabhāva). Ethical effort matters, but it operates within the moral law of karma and the limits of embodied existence.
In Śānti Parva’s didactic setting, Nārada delivers instruction on the workings of destiny, karma, and human limitation, emphasizing that external means (riches, rule) or extreme asceticism do not override the dispensation that assigns embodied beings to experience the fruits of their actions.
