Nara-Nārāyaṇa–Nārada Discourse on Vision, Elements, and Entry into Vāsudeva
जिसका स्थूल शरीर क्षीण हो गया है तथा जो कफ और मांसमय शरीरसे घिरा हुआ है, उस देहधारी प्राणीको मृत्युके बाद शीघ्र ही दूसरे शरीर उपलब्ध हो जाते हैं ।।
nārada uvāca |
nirdagdhaṃ paradehe 'pi paradehaṃ calācalam |
vinaśyantaṃ vināśānte nāvi nāvam ivāhitam ||
那罗陀说道:“即便一具身体已被焚烧,仍会为具身之灵预备另一具身体——或动或不动。就在旧身毁灭的终极之际,为了受用往昔业行之果,便赐与一具新的、同样会坏灭的身躯;正如一舟破裂,便另备一舟来载那舟上之人。”
नारद उवाच
The verse teaches transmigration: when one body perishes—even if cremated—a new body is promptly provided according to karma so the being can experience the results of past actions.
Narada is instructing about death and rebirth, using the analogy of replacing a broken boat with another to show how a new embodiment follows immediately upon the end of the previous one.
