तत्र देवगणा: साध्या महा भूता महाबला: । तेषामप्यभवत् पुत्र: समानो नाम दुर्जय:,“पृथ्वी और आकाशमें जो महाबली और महान् भूत-स्वरूप साध्य नामक देवगण अदृश्यभावसे रहते हैं, उनके दुर्जय पुत्रका नाम है समान
tatra devagaṇāḥ sādhya mahābhūtā mahābalāḥ | teṣām apy abhavat putraḥ samāno nāma durjayaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道:“在那里居住着名为萨陀耶(Sādhyas)的天众——强大而具大力的元素性存在,微妙而不可见。在他们之中亦诞生一子,战阵无可摧伏;其名曰萨摩那(Samāna)。”
भीष्म उवाच
The verse situates human discourse within a wider cosmic order: even subtle divine classes (the Sādhyas) have lineages and distinguished figures. It underscores that power and eminence exist across many planes of being, not only among humans.
Bhīṣma continues a cosmological-genealogical description, identifying a class of deities called the Sādhyas and naming their notable son Samāna, characterized as ‘Durjaya’—difficult to conquer.
