ऋषय जश्न हि देवाश्ष गन्धर्वाश्ष महौजस: । वियुक्ता ब्रह्मघोषेण न भ्राजन्ते यथा पुरा,'यहाँके ऋषि, देवता और महाबली गन्धर्व भी ब्रह्मघोषसे विमुक्त हो अब पहलेकी भाँति शोभा नहीं पा रहे हैं!

ṛṣayaś ca hi devāś ca gandharvāś ca mahaujasaḥ | viyuktā brahmaghoṣeṇa na bhrājante yathā purā ||

毗湿摩说道:“诚然,诸仙、诸天与大威力的乾闼婆——如今与吠陀诵持的神圣回响相离——已不复往昔之光辉。若缺失支撑梵(即吠陀诵音)的声音,即便尊胜之众,也会失去旧日的荣彩。”
