देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship

इस मानव-शरीरमें रहनेवाले काम-क्रोध आदि भयंकर व्याप्र तुमपर चारों ओरसे आक्रमण कर रहे हैं, इसलिये पहलेसे ही तुम पुण्यसंचयके लिये प्रयत्न करो ।। पुरान्धकारमेकको<नुपश्यसि त्वरस्व वै । पुरा हिरण्मयान्‌ नगान्‌ निरीक्षसेडद्रिमूर्धनि,मरनेके समय तुम्हें पहले घोर अन्धकार दिखलायी देगा। फिर पर्वतके शिखरपर सुनहरे वृक्ष दृष्टिगोचर होंगे। वह समय आनेसे पहले ही अपने कल्याणके लिये तुम शीघ्र प्रयत्न करो

vyāsa uvāca | asmin mānava-śarīre nivasantau kāma-krodhādayo bhayaṅkarā vyāprāḥ sarvataḥ tvām ākrāmanti; tasmāt pūrvam eva puṇya-saṃcayāya yatnaṃ kuru || purā andhakāram ekaṃ tvam anupaśyasi; tvarasva vai | purā hiraṇmayān nagān nirīkṣase ’dri-mūrdhani | maraṇa-kāle prathamaṃ te ghoraṃ andhakāraṃ dṛśyate; tataḥ parvata-śikhare suvarṇa-vṛkṣāḥ dṛśyante | tad-āgamanāt pūrvam eva sva-kalyāṇāya śīghraṃ prayatnasva ||

毗耶娑说道:在这人身之中,欲望与忿怒等可怖之力潜居其内,从四面八方袭击你。因此,当预先努力积聚福德。不久你将见到一片独一而弥漫的黑暗——故当速行。不久你将望见山巅之上金色的树木。在那时刻到来之前,务必迅速为自身的安稳福祉而精进。
