पुण्यपापेन मानुष्यमधर्मेणाप्यधोगतिम् । केवल पुण्य करनेसे मनुष्य ऊर्ध्वलोकमें गमन करता है
puṇyapāpena mānuṣyam adharmeṇāpy adhogatim |
阎若伐迦说道:由福与罪的杂和,众生得人身;而以违背正法之行——更甚者——便堕入下界。此教示明示道德因果:纯福能升举,善恶杂作则系缚于人间再生,久行罪业则引人下沉。
याज़्वल्क्य उवाच
Actions bear corresponding results: merit tends toward higher attainments, mixed merit and demerit yield continued human rebirth, and unrighteous conduct drives one toward lower states.
