यदा त्वेष गुणानेतान् प्राकृतानभिमन्यते । तदा स गुणहान्यै त॑ परमेवानुपश्यति
yadā tveṣa guṇān etān prākṛtān abhimanyate | tadā sa guṇahānyai taṁ paramevānupaśyati ||
婆悉吒说道:“当此个我将这些诸德视为普拉克里蒂(Prakṛti)之产物,并于其中舍弃‘我’与‘我所’之念时,则因对诸德之认同止息,唯见至上者。抛却于身等处的我见妄想,便证得自身清净、至高之本性。”
वसिष्ठ उवाच
Liberation arises when one recognizes the guṇas as merely Prakṛti’s workings and drops egoic ownership of them; with guṇa-identification ended, one directly realizes the Supreme and one’s own pure nature beyond body and mind.
Vasiṣṭha is instructing about inner renunciation and discernment: the seeker shifts from identifying with material qualities and bodily self-notions to witnessing them as Prakṛti, culminating in realization of the highest Self (Paramātman).
