स्वपक्षे कारण ग्राह्मूं समये वचन हितम्‌ । शिष्टानां हि मत ग्राहां त्वद्विधै: शिष्टसम्मतै:

Transliteration

svapakṣe kāraṇa-grāhyaṃ samaye vacanaṃ hitam | śiṣṭānāṃ hi mata-grāhyaṃ tvadvidhaiḥ śiṣṭa-sammataiḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“关乎自身立场之事，当取其合乎理者；在适当之时，当言其有益之语。因为有教养之人的见解本应采纳——尤其是像你这样也为贤者所认可的人。”
