तावुभौ तपसोपेताववनीतलचारिणौ । भुज्जानौ मानुषान् भोगान् यथावत् पर्यधावताम्,वे दोनों तपस्वी पृथ्वीतलपर विचरते और मानवीय भोगोंका उपभोग करते हुए यहाँ यथावत््रूपसे परिभ्रमण करने लगे
tāv ubhau tapasopetāv avanītala-cāriṇau | bhuñjānau mānuṣān bhogān yathāvat paryadhāvatām ||
于是,这两位具足苦行之力的大圣仙行走于大地之上。纵使享用人间寻常之乐,他们仍以合宜而自持的方式周游四方,使其行止不离正当之道。

A life of discipline (tapas) can coexist with engagement in worldly necessities and even limited enjoyments, provided one remains within the bounds of propriety (yathāvat) and does not abandon right conduct.
Two ascetic figures are described as traveling across the earth; despite their austerity, they partake of human enjoyments and continue their journey in an orderly, appropriate way.
