शापस्यान्तो भवेद् ब्रद्नन्नित्येवं तमथाब्रवम् | भविता भार्गवाद् रामादिति मामब्रवीद् भूगुः,“तब मैंने उनसे कहा--'ब्रह्मन! इस शापका अन्त भी होना चाहिये।” यह सुनकर भृगुजी बोले--“'भृगुवंशी परशुरामसे इस शापका अन्त होगा”
śāpasya anto bhaved brāhmann ity evaṃ tam athābravam | bhavitā bhārgavād rāmād iti mām abravīd bhṛguḥ ||
那罗陀说：“我便对他说：‘婆罗门啊，这诅咒也应当有个终结。’ 听罢，婆利古对我说：‘它的终结将由婆利古族的罗摩（即持斧罗摩，Paraśurāma）带来。’”
