अध्याय २९७ — श्रेयः, धृति, दान-नियमाः
Welfare, Steadfastness, and Norms of Giving
गृहेषु येषामसव: पतन्ति तेषामथो निर्हरणं प्रशस्तम् । यानेन वै प्रापणं च श्मशाने शौचेन नूनं विधिना चैव दाह:
gṛheṣu yeṣām asavaḥ patanti teṣām atho nirharaṇaṁ praśastam | yānena vai prāpaṇaṁ ca śmaśāne śaucena nūnaṁ vidhinā caiva dāhaḥ ||
帕罗沙罗教诲说：当一个人的生命之息在屋内将尽之时，应当不迟疑地将其移出居所。死后，应将遗体安置于灵柩担架（bier）上送往火葬场，并在保持仪式清净的前提下，依经典所定之法行火葬之礼。
