Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment
Parāśara’s Instruction
यजुर्मयो ऋड्मयश्न त्वमाहुतिमयस्तथा । पठ्यसे स्तुतिभिश्चिव वेदोपनिषदां गणै:
yajur-mayo ṛg-mayaś ca tvam āhuti-mayas tathā | paṭhyase stutibhiś caiva vedopaniṣadāṁ gaṇaiḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“你是《夜柔吠陀》与《梨俱吠陀》的精髓；你亦是祭祀中所献之供品本身。诸吠陀与诸奥义书以赞颂之偈宣示你的伟大——教导人们：至上真实并不离于圣典之知与正法之祭，而正是二者的内在根基。”
