भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्‌ ज्वरस्येमं सम्भवं लोकविश्रुतम्‌ । विस्तरं चास्य वक्ष्यामि यादृशश्वैव भारत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca śṛṇu rājan jvarasyemaṃ sambhavaṃ lokaviśrutam | vistaraṃ cāsya vakṣyāmi yādṛśaś caiva bhārata ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“听着，国王啊，这是热病（Jvara）起源的故事，名闻诸世界。婆罗多后裔啊，我将如实为你详尽叙述。”
