Parāśara’s Counsel on बुद्धि (Discernment), Karma-Consequences, and Avoidance of Pāpānubandha Actions
ततो बुद्धिमुपागम्य भगवान् पाकशासन: । योगेन महता युक्तस्तां मायां व्यपकर्षत,तब भगवान् पाकशासनने उत्तम बुद्धिका आश्रय ले महान् योगसे युक्त हो उस मायाको नष्ट कर दिया
tato buddhim upāgamya bhagavān pākaśāsanaḥ | yogena mahatā yuktaḥ tāṃ māyāṃ vyapakarṣata ||
于是,具福德的帕迦沙娑那(Pākaśāsana,因陀罗)复得明辨之智,复以广大瑜伽之力,驱散了那幻力(māyā)。
भीष्म उवाच
Illusion (māyā) is overcome by restored discernment (buddhi) and disciplined inner power (yoga). Ethically, the verse emphasizes clarity of judgment and self-mastery as prerequisites for right action.
Bhīṣma describes Indra (Pākaśāsana) coming back to clear understanding and, using great yogic power, removing a deceptive māyā that had been operating—signaling a turning point from confusion to clarity.
