अप्राप्तसर्वकामार्थ मृत्युरादाय गच्छति । मनुष्य दुर्बल हो या बलवान, बुद्धिमान्‌ हो या शूरवीर अथवा मूर्ख हो या विद्वान--मृत्यु उसकी समस्त कामनाओं के पूर्ण होनेसे पहले ही उसे उठा ले जाती है

aprāptasarvakāmārtha mṛtyur ādāya gacchati |

毗湿摩说道:死亡在一切欲望与目标尚未圆满之前,便将人带走。无论孱弱或强健,聪慧或英勇,愚昧或博学——无常截断人间诸计,提醒人当以法(dharma)立身,而非无尽拖延,等待世事“完备”。
