लोभमोहाभिभूतस्य रागद्वेषान्वितस्य च । न धर्मे जायते बुद्धिर्व्याजादू धर्म करोति च
Bhīṣma uvāca | lobhamohābhibhūtasya rāgadveṣānvitasya ca | na dharme jāyate buddhir vyājād dharmaṃ karoti ca ||
毗湿摩说道：当一个人被贪欲与迷妄所压倒，又被爱著与憎恶所系缚时，他的智慧便不能在法（Dharma）中生起。相反，他总以这样那样的借口，只行“作秀”的正义——外表的端正，而非真实的德行。
