Determination of the Means to Liberation
न मूलघात: कर्तव्यो नैष धर्म: सनातन: । अपि स्वल्पवधेनैव प्रायश्षित्तं विधीयते
dyumatsena uvāca |
na mūlaghātaḥ kartavyo naiṣa dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ |
api svalpavadhenaiva prāyaścittaṃ vidhīyate ||
丢摩蹉那说道：“不可斩其根本，不可求其尽灭；此非永恒之法（sanātana-dharma）。即以轻而相称之刑，亦能成就忏悔与赎罪；罪人之恶业由此得以消解。”
