सर्व प्रियाभ्युपगतं धर्ममाहुर्मनीषिण: । पश्यैतं लक्षणोद्देशं धर्माधर्मे युधिछ्ठिर

Transliteration

sarva-priyābhyupagataṁ dharmam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ | paśyaitaṁ lakṣaṇoddeśaṁ dharmādharmayoḥ yudhiṣṭhira ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“智者宣说：达摩乃是一切以善意与对众生的慈爱为根基之事。看吧，尤提士提罗——这便是区分达摩与非达摩（阿达摩）的简要标志：合乎普遍仁爱者为达摩；违背普遍仁爱者为阿达摩。”
