उत्तान आस्ये न हविर्जुहोति लोकस्य नाभिर्जगत: प्रतिष्ठा । तस्याड्रमज्ननि कृताकृतं च वैश्वानर: सर्वमिदं प्रपेदे .
uttāna āsye na havir juhoti lokasya nābhir jagataḥ pratiṣṭhā | tasyāṅgam agnau kṛtākṛtaṃ ca vaiśvānaraḥ sarvam idaṃ prapede ||
毗耶娑说:出离者不将供物倾入张口之中(如同投入外在之火)。他反而将诸气息与内在诸根献入自我之中。对这样的人而言,全身与一切业聚——已作与未作——仿佛都成了火的肢分;他与毗湿婆那罗(Vaiśvānara)合一——那住于腹中之内消化火,为众生之脐、为世界之所依。此毗湿婆那罗遍满整个宇宙。
व्यास उवाच
True renunciation is an inner yajña: instead of external offerings, one dissolves the senses, mind, and prāṇa into the Self, realizing identity with Vaiśvānara—the universal inner fire that sustains life and pervades the cosmos.
Vyāsa explains a contemplative model of sacrifice in the Śānti teachings: the sannyāsin does not perform a literal mouth-to-fire oblation, but internalizes the rite so that body and karmic account are absorbed into the cosmic Fire (Vaiśvānara), the world’s support.
