Educational Q&A

Faithful performance of the five daily great sacrifices, combined with steadiness, vigilance (non-negligence), restraint of the senses, knowledge of dharma, and mastery of the mind—this is presented as the proper way to live and to worship the Supreme through everyday righteous conduct.

In Śānti Parva’s instruction on dharma and right living, Vyāsa delivers a prescriptive guideline for household and ethical life: worship is not only ritual but sustained daily duty, requiring inner discipline and alertness against negligence.
