Gṛhastha-vṛtti and Niyama: Models of Householder Livelihood and Discipline (गृहस्थवृत्ति-नियमाः)
असंरोधेन भूतानां वृत्तिं लिप्सेत वै द्विज: । सद्भ्य आगतविज्ञान: शिष्ट: शास्त्रविचक्षण:
asaṃrodhena bhūtānāṃ vṛttiṃ lipseta vai dvijaḥ | sadbhya āgatavijñānaḥ śiṣṭaḥ śāstravicakṣaṇaḥ ||
毗耶娑说：“两次生者（dvija）求取生计，应不阻碍、不伤害众生——不夺其生存之资。居于善人之侧，奉事贤者，当得真实知见，成为有教养而有德之人，并善于辨析与阐释诸《沙斯特拉》（śāstra）的教诲。”
