हारमाभरणं वेषं गतं स्थितमवेक्षितम्
hāram ābharaṇaṃ veṣaṃ gataṃ sthitam avekṣitam
释迦罗(因陀罗)说道:“我曾观察项链、饰物与衣装——它们如何流转,如何停驻;如何被佩戴,又如何被搁置。”
शक्र उवाच
External markers—jewelry, dress, and display—are transient and contingent; ethical worth and inner steadiness are not to be measured by such changeable appearances.
Indra (Śakra) speaks reflectively, describing his observation of ornaments and attire in their changing states—worn, removed, coming and going—using them as a cue to consider the instability of outward status.
