कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च

Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation

शचीपति इन्द्र! जैसे तुम हो, वैसे ही बल और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न अनेक सहस्र इन्द्र समाप्त हो चुके हैं ।।

Transliteration

tvām apy atibalaṃ śakra devarājaṃ balotkaṭam | prāpta-kāle mahāvīryaḥ kālaḥ saṃśamayīṣyati ||

Translation

有人告诫因陀罗、舍支之主：“如你一般，具足力量与勇武的千千万万因陀罗也都已走到尽头。噢，释迦罗，你自以为极其强大，是天神之王，力势凶猛；然而待命定之时到来，大能的时间（迦罗）也必使你归于寂静。”
