कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
यदि मे पश्यत: कालो भूतानि न विनाशयेत् । स्यान्मे हर्षश्न दर्पश्ष क्रोधश्षेव शचीपते
yadi me paśyataḥ kālo bhūtāni na vināśayet | syān me harṣaś ca darpaś ca krodhaś caiva śacīpate śacīpate ||
噢，舍契之主（Śacīpati）！若时间（迦罗）竟不在我眼前毁灭众生，我心中必生欢喜；必生对自身威力的骄矜；亦必对那残酷之时生起忿怒。然而时间毁灭一切众生——因此狂喜与自负被遏止，人不得不承认有一更高、更公正而无偏的秩序。
