पृथिवी ज्योतिराकाशमापो वायुश्च॒ पठचम: । एतद्योनीनि भूतानि तत्र का परिदेवना

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | pṛthivī jyotir ākāśam āpo vāyuś ca pañcamaḥ | etad-yonīni bhūtāni tatra kā paridevanā ||

Translation

释迦罗说道：“地、火（光）、空、水、风为第五——这些便是有身众生生起的‘胎藏’（物质根源）。既然一切众生由此诸大和合而成，终又归于诸大，又何必哀号哭泣？”
