हत्वा जित्वा च मघवन्‌ यः कश्ित्‌ पुरुषायते । अकर्ता होव भवति कर्ता होव करोति तत्‌

Transliteration

hatvā jitvā ca maghavan yaḥ kaścit puruṣāyate | akartā hova bhavati kartā hova karoti tat, maghavan ||

Translation

释迦罗（因陀罗）说道：“噢，摩伽梵！凡人在杀戮或征服之后，若以自己的男子勇力而自矜，实则并非那业行的真正作者。因为真正的施为者，是造作世界的主宰——至上之神；唯有祂使那行动得以成就。”
