Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca evam ukto bhagavatā mahendraḥ pṛthivīṃ tadā | cacāra airāvataskandham adhiruhya śriyā vṛtaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：蒙福者（梵天）如此谕令之后，摩诃因陀罗（因陀罗）遂登上阿伊罗婆多之背，周行大地，王者之福德辉映其身——此乃天命所许之主权与护世之职的象征。
