यत्‌ त्वसंतोषसंयुक्तमप्रीतिकरमात्मन: । प्रवृत्त रज इत्येवं ततस्तदपि चिन्तयेत्‌,जो अपने लिये असंतोषजनक एवं अप्रीतिकर हो, उसको रजोगुणकी प्रवृत्ति एवं अभिवृद्धि समझनी चाहिये

yat tv asaṃtoṣasaṃyuktam aprītikaram ātmanaḥ | pravṛttaṃ raja ity evaṃ tatas tad api cintayet ||

毗湿摩说:“凡与不满足相系、且不能令自身生起内在喜悦之事,应当理解为 rajas(激越、欲动之性)的搅动与增长。因此,当如是观照。”

If an impulse, action, or object leaves one dissatisfied and inwardly unpleased, it should be recognized as rajas in operation—restless, desire-driven agitation. The instruction is to label it correctly and reflect, so one can restrain or redirect oneself toward calmer, more wholesome states.
