Prahlāda–Indra Saṃvāda: Kartṛtva (Agency) and Svabhāva (Nature) in the Causation of Karma

As a chapter-colophon, this verse does not add new doctrine; it signals that the chapter’s core teaching was an exposition of adhyātma-tattva—spiritual reality concerning the Self and liberation—presented in relation to Vārṣṇeya (Śrī Kṛṣṇa).
The text is closing the chapter: it formally marks the end of Śānti Parva’s Mokṣa-dharma section chapter 215, summarizing its topic as a description of spiritual truth connected with Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
