Svapna–Manas–Guṇa–Brahma-vicāra
ततो विष्णुर्महातेजा वाराहं रूपमास्थित: । अन्तर्भूमिं सम्प्रविश्य जगाम दितिजान् प्रति,उधर महातेजस्वी भगवान् विष्णु वाराहरूप धारण कर बड़े वेगसे भूमिके भीतर प्रविष्ट हुए और दैत्योंके पास जा पहुँचे
tato viṣṇur mahātejā vārāhaṃ rūpam āsthitaḥ | antarbhūmiṃ sampraviśya jagāma ditijān prati ||
于是，大威光明的毗湿奴化现为婆罗诃（Varāha）——神圣野猪之形。祂深入地底幽深处，疾驰而去，直指狄蒂所生的群魔；此举昭示神明出手，以在毁灭之力威胁世界之时，重建宇宙秩序。
