एतस्याद्या प्रवृत्तिस्तु प्रधानात् सम्प्रवर्तते । द्वितीया मिथुनव्यक्तिमविशेषान्नियच्छति
etasyādyā pravṛttis tu pradhānāt sampravartate | dvitīyā mithuna-vyaktim aviśeṣān niyacchati ||
毗湿摩说：“此诸原理之聚，其最初的展开出自普拉达那（原初自然）。其后第二阶段，其显现受法则所摄：由未分之态而出，依生殖之律，呈现为成对（雄–雌）之相。”
