मत्स्यो यथा स्रोत इवाभिपाती तथा कृतं पूर्वमुपैति कर्म । शुभे त्वसौ तुष्यति दुष्कृते तु नतुष्यते वै परम: शरीरी
matsyo yathā srota iva abhipātī tathā kṛtaṃ pūrvam upaiti karma | śubhe tv asau tuṣyati duṣkṛte tu na tuṣyate vai paramaḥ śarīrī ||
毗湿摩说道:“譬如鱼随溪流之势而漂,世人亦为先前所作之业力所挟,推向前行。然而在这业流之中被卷带之时,具身之我——本来实为至上——遇顺果则喜,逢逆果则忧;此等反应,正是迷妄之印记。”
भीष्म उवाच
