Manu’s Instruction
सत्य॑ वेदेषु जागार्ति फलं सत्ये परं स्मृतम् । सत्याद् धर्मो दमश्चैव सर्व सत्ये प्रतेष्ठितम्
satyaṁ vedeṣu jāgarti phalaṁ satye paraṁ smṛtam | satyād dharmo damaś caiva sarvaṁ satye pratiṣṭhitam ||
婆罗门宣示：在诸吠陀之中，真实恒常警醒，其伟大屡被申明。至上的果报被说是归于真实本身。由真实而生法（dharma）的成就与自制（dama）的获得；确然，一切皆以真实为根基而建立。
