सर्वकामैर्व॒ता: केचिद्धेमाभरण भूषिता: । प्राणधारणमात्र तु केषांचिदुपपद्यते । श्रमेण महता केचित्‌ कुर्वन्ति प्राणधारणम्‌

Transliteration

bharadvāja uvāca | sarvakāmair vṛtāḥ kecid hemābharaṇa-bhūṣitāḥ | prāṇa-dhāraṇa-mātraṁ tu keṣāṁcid upapadyate | śrameṇa mahatā kecit kurvanti prāṇa-dhāraṇam |

Translation

婆罗陀婆阇说道：在那境界里，有的众生享尽所愿之乐，身饰金璎；然而也有人仅得维命之资，更有人须以极大辛劳，方能勉强存息。由此可知，即便在彼处，业果亦以可见之相显现，众生随其所作而受种种不同境遇。
