Adhyāya 180: Jīva, Śarīra, and the Fire Analogy (भृगु–भरद्वाज संवादः)
बहुकथितमिदं हि बुद्धिमद्धिः कविभिरपि प्रथयद्धिरात्मकीर्तिम् । इदमिदमिति तत्र तत्र हन््त स्वपरमतैर्गहनं प्रतर्कयद्धि:ः
bahukathitam idaṁ hi buddhimadbhiḥ kavibhir api prathayadbhir ātmakīrtim | idam idam iti tatra tatra hanta svaparamataiḥ gahanaṁ pratarkayadbhiḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：此一修持之法，连有智的学者与诗人也曾以多种方式阐释——各人亦欲扬己之名。凭借自身与他派的见解，他们以繁复的论证与反论证推演，在此处彼处不断断言：“应当如此；应当如此。”
