इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत आपद्धर्मपर्वमें कृतघ्नका उपाख्यानविषयक एक सौ बहत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

iti prakāraḥ śrī-mahābhārate śānti-parvaṇi antargate āpaddharma-parvaṇi kṛtaghnopākhyāna-viṣayaka eka-śata-dvā-saptatitamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

至此，《圣摩诃婆罗多》之《寂静篇》内《困厄法品》中，关于“忘恩负义者”譬喻故事的第一百七十二章圆满结束。此章末记表明一段训诫篇章告终，旨在阐明伦理行持——尤重谴责忘恩，并申明即在危难之际亦当坚守达摩。
