Transliteration

Gautama uvāca: Madhyadeśa-prasūto 'haṁ vāso me śabarālaye | Śūdrā punarbhūr bhāryā me satyam etad bravīmi te ||

Translation

乔多摩说道：“罗刹王啊，我生于中土（Madhyadeśa），却居住在一位舍婆罗（Śabara）之家。我的妻子是首陀罗女子，并且曾为他人之妻。我以实言告你。”
