ब्रह्मा ददावसिं तीक्षणमधर्मप्रतिवारणम् । इसके बाद ब्रह्माजीने अधर्मका निवारण करनेमें समर्थ वह तीखी तलवार वृषभचिह्नित ध्वजावाले नीलकण्ठ भगवान् रुद्रको दे दी
brahmā dadāv asiṁ tīkṣṇam adharmaprativāraṇam |
毗湿摩说道：梵天赐下一柄锋利之剑，足以约束并驱退阿达摩（不义）。随后，梵天又将这柄锐器——能强力镇压非正之行——交予鲁陀罗大神：那位青喉（尼罗迦ṇṭha）、旗帜上饰有公牛徽记的神祇，使纷乱与不公得以遏止，而达摩得以护持。
