इति श्रीमहाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि आपद्धर्मपर्वणि कपोतस्वर्गगमने अष्टचत्वारिंशदिधिकशततमो< ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate śāntiparvaṇi āpaddharmaparvaṇi kapotasvargagamane aṣṭacatvāriṃśad-adhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ |

Translation

至此，《圣摩诃婆罗多》之《寂静篇》——其中特为“困厄之法（Āpaddharma）”一段——关于“鸽子升天”的第一百四十八章宣告终了。（此章末题记表明道德譬喻已闭合：坚忍的慈悲与自我牺牲，即便在极端艰难之中，亦被肯定为承载正法、引向天界之行。）
